A recent storm blew into Island Lake Lodge providing about 50 cms of fresh powder. Snowboard Canada Magazine stopped by to work on an article for next winters edition.
Pro athletes Murray Hodgson, Jonovan Moore, Scott Shaw, Ryan Johanessen and Pete Navin shredded the Island Lake terrain with Jeff Patterson taking images for the article.
The crew stated that “these are the best days of our season…awesome snow, awesome terrain and spectacular food” perfect for a catskiing vacation. Murray and Scott threw down some technical tricks while Ryan and Jonovan hit some big mountain lines. The crew had such a great time it was hard to get them to leave the lodge, they did leave eventually feeling satisfied with their days. Watch for the full article next season on the news stands.
